I was born into a U.S. Military family, only calling any given place home until my Father’s next duty station called. Florida, Mississippi, South Carolina, Wisconsin, and California were all called home at one point. I learned quickly home was really the people I was with, my family, rather than the place where I was.
After graduating high school in 1998, I pursued by degree at the University of Mississippi; earning a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a minor in Spanish in 2002. While pursuing my undergraduate degree I studied abroad in Querétaro, Mexico and Lima, Peru. After obtaining my undergraduate degree, I spent a year in London, England taking Master’s level courses at the University of London and London School of Economics.
In 2003, I returned to the U.S. and began my career. More on my career path and experience can be found on my Career page.
While navigating my career path, I also pursued building a family. I met my beautiful wife in 2004, she said yes in 2006 and we said I Do in 2007. Today, we are parents to our 3 amazing children and often find our spare time consumed by supporting each of them in their life endeavors.
While family and career consume the lion’s share of my time, I do still find time to pursue my other passions. I enjoy running both for the physical and mental benefits it brings me . Running is the only time in my day that the only person depending on me is me. In 2021 I grew beyond just running and completed my first 70.3 Ironman. Fortunately for me, my other passion is travel which meshes well with where I currently am in my career.
